Our Congress has been overrun for many years by corporate and special interests, and everyone knows that this is nothing more than "politics as usual", which is taking us down the continual slide in the wrong direction to the abyss. It's time for a change, and time to strive for principle and ideals that will make America great once again.

So what are these ideals? Let's start by listening to our founding fathers, and the Constitution of the United States. As your Congressman, I will work for a federal government that lives up to its Constitutional responsibilities to the First District:

• End wasteful spending that is un-Constitutional.
• Stop corporate welfare and protectionist regulations written by lobbyists, the banksters and the think tanks, and let the free markets create our businesses and jobs.
• Stop taking so much wealth to Washington, so our state and local governments can better meet our needs here at home.
  
• Secure the border and end economic incentives for illegal aliens.
• Restore accessible health care, restore the doctor-patient relationship.
• Defend national security, through bring our troops home, not only from Iraq and Afghanistan, but from 130 countries from around the world! In addition, this will create a savings of over one trillion dollars annually. Putting this money to better use for here at home, and reducing our national debt.
• Support free trade, and oppose managed trade by special interests, such as NAFTA, WTO, FTAA, GATT.
• Stop government looting of Social Security.
• Protect the environment by protecting private property rights and ending corporate welfare.
• Protect our privacy and civil liberties, by getting rid of warrantless surveillance of American Citizens, in addition, The Patriotic Acts 1, 2, and 3, Military Commissions Act of 2006, John Warner National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2007, etc.
• The abolishment of the Federal Reserves System; routing out the moneychangers from the temple! The Federal Reserves, in concert with Congress are creating paper dollars that has no intrinsic value, which is the direct cause of all our economic woes. With each new fiat paper money created, all the other paper dollars in circulation devalues over time. Rising prices are the direct result, which is known as inflation, which is nothing more than a hidden tax that you and I pay. This is merely reflecting the fact that our dollars are worth less with each passing year, since the creation of the Federal Reserves System. In order to remedy this, we must have the return of sound money, restoring it to the people and removing it from banksters. The constitution clearly stipulates in article one, section ten, "that only gold and silver are to be legal tender." With sound money backed by gold and silver, there is a restricted limitations to the amount of money allowed printed and put into circulation in the economy. Moreover, this limitation controls inflation, in addition, will dramatically increase the buying and savings power of our dollars we earn over very long periods of time.
